Sean and Liz have held multiple positions together and have experience providing housekeeping, maintenance, property management, and concierge services. They are quite accomplished as individuals and have had successful careers in various industries, although most recently, they have devoted their considerable talents to hospitality.

Confidential Family, Wyoming April 2020

In late-February, we accepted a Maintenance and Housekeeper Couple position, on a private 35,000-acre cattle ranch in Wyoming, working for a UHNW family. Responsibilities included overseeing all systems within and outside the home and buildings, detailed cleaning of the 10,000 sq ft home, and meal service. After initially delaying our start to July, they have now canceled our contract because of the COVID-19 pandemic. So we find ourselves unexpectedly unemployed and seeking a new long-term opportunity.

Harmony Beach Vacations, Destin, Florida April 2019-April 2020

At this family-owned and operated small business, together we managed 90 rental properties ranging from one-bedroom bungalows to multimillion-dollar beachfront getaways. Although our day-to-day responsibilities were quite broad, we focused on creating and maintaining relationships with every property owner. In addition to overseeing all aspects of the vacation rental portion of the business, we created an organization level tracking system, utilizing spreadsheets and apps, addressing every owner’s unique requests before their arrival.

Confidential Farm, County Sligo Ireland 2018 & 2020

At this private family sheep farm, we worked unpaid during the 2018 and 2020 pedigree lambing seasons. While staying at their Airbnb in 2017, we established a long-lasting connection and friendship with the family. We fell in love with their sheep and eagerly accepted their offer to help with lambing the following year. We learned to assist ewes with delivery, when needed during lambing, maintain a clean environment, feed newborn lambs, monitor health and growth of ewes and lambs, and complete daily chores such as mucking stalls and bedding sheep. We enjoyed living with the family and valued the experience so much that we went back in 2020 and plan to do so again in the future.

It’s A Gavination, Worldwide April 2015 – April 2018

For 3-years, Sean and Liz traveled full-time; visited four continents, 21 countries, 27 US states, and 14 US National Parks. They went on safaris in Africa, climbed or attempted to climb Denali, Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn, and AmaDablam, kayaked in Alaska, learned to surf in Hawaii, toured US and European Ski towns, and spent precious time with friends and family.

Property Manager, Sea to Ski 2018

Sea to Ski is the luxury division of a property management and concierge service for second homeowners in Telluride, Colorado. Sean performed a wide array of tasks, including maintenance, housekeeping, and vendor management, to ensure 100% guest and owner satisfaction. Concierge services such as arranging private transportation, coordinating arrival services with private flight schedules, grocery deliveries, restaurant and spa reservations, were an everyday affair for Sean. His portfolio of properties ranged from 3,000 sq ft ski chalets to 20,000 sq ft European style villas.

Director of Business Development, Outdoor Prolink 2014 – 2015

Sean was responsible for Outdoor Prolink’s organic and net new membership growth. Through membership outreach programs and creating new alliances, Sean drove new business by expanding current relationships and establishing and growing new ones through strategic planning. Reporting directly to the company owner, Sean would mine data and create trackable processes to encourage and monitor growth. He would also consult on staff, finances, sales, and marketing.

Sean managed a book of current clients and had oversight of the team tasked with growing those accounts. His primary directive was to solidify strong partnerships and expand the business by identifying and securing new partnerships. He created and managed new sales programs from conception to review and was responsible for budget, spending, forecasting, and new product creation.

While overseeing all sales and marketing efforts of the business, Sean was responsible for the go-to-market strategy to include; distribution, marketing, sales channel, staff, and outside sales reps. The primary verticals he utilized were direct to consumer via web and brand store, wholesale, and consignment. Additionally, Sean handled all elements of trade shows. And as he reported directly to the owners, he was responsible for budgeting, profit, loss oversight, and staff management.

Sean drove sales by expanding current accounts through growing relationships and identifying new opportunities to capture new clients. He would manage all aspects of client relationships from initial contact through continued service. Sean created new marketing programs that included direct to consumer, web, mailings, and social media while overseeing budgets from $10k to $6million.

During Sean’s six years, he spent four of them working with customers on the sales floor, selling products, and company memberships. Sean also executed community outreach programs in the Denver market; he taught multiple how-to clinics and gave over 20 media interviews as a company spokesperson for the Denver area. In his final two years, he oversaw all operational aspects of loss prevention and security.

General Manager, Peak Mountain Guides 2019

Responsible for overseeing daily business operations, including client bookings, ensuring compliance with state and local laws, overall marketing strategies and implementation, assisting owners in hiring and managing employees, equipment inventory, analyzing accounting and financial data, researching and identifying growth opportunities, and organizational strategic planning.

Office Manager, Lizard Head Cycling Guides 2018

At this vehicle-supported road and mountain bike tour company, Liz arranged customized concierge services for guests and managed the day-to-day operations of the business. Concierge services included booking hotels, planning menus based on guest’s preference and dietary restrictions, making restaurant and spa reservations, and coordinating custom bicycle set-up and shipping. For bespoke tours, she created custom menus featuring local meats and vegetables and cooked in guests’ private homes.

Senior member of the team responsible for managing, developing, and executing the Denver market plan, to meet national goals. Coordinated teams in executing large market events. Developed and coordinated annual calendar, and scheduled staff. Taught 30+ days per year of in-store and field-based courses.
